Nicolas Maduro, in 2017, performs to „Despacito“, at that point the world’s most famous pop song. The text has been changed to political slogans that support the government-initiated referendum for constitutional change. This is at the point of a severe economic crisis, severe shortages of food and medicine, and the government’s (finally successful) attempt to pass a referendum to change the Venezuelian constitution.
